The first time you burn, make absolutely sure that the candle wax melts all the way to the edges. This will ensure an even burn all the way down.

Trim wicks to 1/4" before each light, to avoid smoking and overheating. 

Do not burn the candle for longer than 3-4 hours at a time.

Never burn a candle when there is less than 1/4" of wax at the base.
