      OUR STORY

      Hey there, we're Kenzie and Spencer, the husband and wife team behind Cancelled Plans.

      From a griddle on our kitchen counter in Seattle, WA, we started our journey in 2019 hand-crafting candles by experimenting with various wax blends and scents. After months of trial and error, hundreds of pours, and countless iterations, we finally landed on the perfect blend of coconut and apricot waxes paired with elegant, high-end scent profiles that reflect moods and feelings of casual luxury we want our candles to evoke. 


      We're continuing to grow and build our bootstrapped business with our team of 5. Today you can find Cancelled Plans candles across North America at more than 200 boutiques and non-chain retailers.

      Cancelled Plans is a clean burning, coconut and apricot wax blend candle company based in Seattle, WA. Each part of our candle production is done by hand. We are a design focused company that combines high-end, quality ingredients and craftsmanship with fun, vibrant colors and themes to create candles that stand out and keeps our customers coming back. 


      FAQS

      HOW LONG DO THE CANDLES BURN FOR?


      The candles burn for approximately 55+ hours! Trimming the wick, letting the wax melt to the edges, and only burning the candle for 3 to 4 hours are best candle practices to to have a clean and long-lasting burn.

      WHAT IS YOUR SUGGESTED ORDER SIZE?


      That depends on the size of your store! We typically suggest ordering scents in multiples of 6. If you don't carry too many other candle brands, start with 3 to 4 scents. If you have shelves full of candles, maybe get 6 scents!

      WHAT ARE THE BEST SELLERS?


      It's, Fine, I'm Fine, Alone Time, and French Exit are the top 3! But if you love a woody scent, French Exit is for you. Or if floral is more your vibe, you might love Do Not Disturb. 
      HOW OFTEN DO YOU COME OUT WITH NEW SCENTS?


      We create new scents when we are feeling inspired! It's a bit spontaneous  but you can anticipate a few a year!
